Hapag ng Pag-asa

The Heartist painter Joey Velasco passed away last July 21st. He was the artist who painted the famous Hapag ng Pag-asa which showcased Jesus Christ and instead of his followers, there were poor kids instead. The kids he used in the painting were real kids he helped feed.

According to news reports, he suffered from a life-threatening kidney ailment and days before he passed away, he had a heart attack and seizures.

May his soul rest in peace. And I know he is now witnessing a real supper with Jesus Christ.
