Advice on jobs

My cousin and his friend visited me the other day to ask for an advice regarding getting jobs. They want to know how it is with interviews as well as how to negotiate a good salary. They thought of me because my cousin remembered I gave advice to some relatives a couple of years ago and all those relatives were able to get the jobs they want with good salaries to boot!
So I told them how to go about in interviews, how to maneuver the interview to go to the salary and benefits and how to sell themselves and their limited work experiences to the interviewers.
