An asset to the company

Sally is looking to grab one of the science jobs that she found online. She is well qualified for one of the open positions. She is a Biologist and is currently taking up her PhD in the same field.

She is an idealist who wants to contribute whatever she can to the field of Biology. She is fascinated with life. Sally can actually become an asset to a company that will hire her. If only she will be given a chance to prove herself…

Shopping spree

Haze is going on a shopping spree courtesy of her husband. She loves shopping for clothes and shoes. She actually just bought a pair of mbt shoes and she still wants more!

Well, given a chance, I would love to go on a shopping spree, too. Who wouldn’t want that especially if you are a woman like me? I am sure you will grab the chance and shop like crazy!

Clothes, shoes, bags, accessories! What else?

For the aunt

I am joining an online auction. My aunt has this really beautiful nature painting that she wants to sell and she asked me if I could do it for her. She will give me a portion of the proceeds as a thank you if ever I get to sell the painting. I will do it, of course.

She’s my favorite aunt. Plus, she has been good to me and my siblings ever since we were little kids. Selling the painting is just a small favor she asked. It wouldn’t even be too hard considering I will just have to wait for bids to come in.

No to motor breakdown

The motor home repairs is still ongoing. Mr. and Mrs. Lee want to make sure that their family is safe while on the road. So a thorough check of their motor home is a must for them. They will be on the road for hours before they reach their destination. A motor breakdown is a no-no for them.

It is actually a must for those going on a trip to have their vehicles checked first. An emergency happens when you don’t even know the condition of the vehicle you are driving.

Enjoy his youth

I still have the equestrian apparel to get soon. It’s for my nephew, my cousin Hope’s son. He will be competing soon and I thought I might as well get him new clothes to wear by then. He is a good kid. He is top of his class and is doing so well in various outdoor competition.

Hope and her husband will send him over to be with his other cousins in the province for the school break. They also want him to enjoy his youth and he gets to be an ordinary kid with his cousins.

Good employee

Brandon is tasked by his boss to pick up the industrial hand wheels that their company ordered a month ago. It was scheduled to be delivered next week but since they badly need it already, Brandon’s boss thought of sending him over to the vendor’s place and get the hand wheels instead.

Brandon is a good employee. He would go wherever his boss sends him to, whenever he needs to. You won’t hear any complaints from him. He’s hoping to be promoted soon.

Happiness from the snow sleds

Who would have thought that a couple of snow sleds will bring so much joy and happiness to a group of people who are just surveying a property? The group saw the sleds and off they went sledding down the hill.

A couple who went with the group is now looking at getting one for their kids. It was fun and they want their kids to have the same kind of fun they had. Sort of like Christmas time even if it’s not.

Stressed out insomniac

Libby needs the best eye cream for the dark circles under her eyes. It’s worsening each time her friends see her. She’s an insomniac and hardly ever sleeps right. It could be one cause and there’s also the fact that she’s always stressed out so the haggard look is also giving her the appearance of being sick.

Aside from the best eye cream, I think Libby also needs to take some much needed break. Away from the city, her work and all the distractions in her life. Her friends are sure she’ll come back looking refreshed and recharged.

In place

I am used to steel buildings around me that I miss them when I am out of town. I am a city girl through and through. Buildings make me feel in place. I actually like the feeling of being close to heaven when I’m inside a really tall building. In fact, I have always wanted to live in a tall building.

Good kid

I am sponsoring Trixie’s prom dress. She is the daughter of a neighbor. Her parents can’t afford to get her a new one so I volunteered to sponsor it. Trixie is a good kid who helps out at home in exchange for a few bucks a week. She uses her earnings as school allowance so I am really fond of the kid. She knows her priorities.

Of course, before I told her I’d buy her prom dress, I talked first with her parents about it as a sign of respect for them. They are overwhelmed by the gesture, they said, and are thankful for the good things our family does for Trixie.

Christmas spirit

Can you say overly excited when I tell you that my cousin Reina already bought led christmas lights for the Christmas tree she’s already starting to put up? Reina has three kids. Their house is almost always filled with kids. So she wants them to enjoy the Christmas spirit for the longest time at home. And let them see as the foot of the tree is slowly filled with gifts after gifts.

She just loves seeing the kids’ excitement mounting.

Organizing schedules

The serial organizer in me is at work again. No, I am not organizing anything at home. What I am organizing is my cousins’ schedules and my siblings’ as well as mine. We are going on a vacation together! I am synchronizing our schedules so that we can all go for five days and four nights on a Branson, Missouri vacation.

There are Branson vacation packages we already looked at and we are getting a couple of it to accommodate all of us. It’s only the dates that we are concerned about and can’t come up with yet so I took it upon myself to organize it for all of us.

Log cabin for the clan

What’s the best furniture to get for a log cabin? Of course, it’s log furniture! There are log cabins that my aunt is looking at right now. She is out to buy a retreat for the family. She will buy a log cabin, fill it with log furniture to match, and when her family’s not using it, anyone in the clan can borrow the place.

I can’t wait for my turn to come!

Laptop replaced

My sister is getting laptop insurance plan. She needs one because when she lost her laptop last year, it took her a couple of months before she was able to replace it. And all because she had no insurance plan in place. Her laptop was actually stolen from her so if she only has an insurance, it would have been replaced sooner.

Well, it took her over two months to save up for a new laptop. She has priorities in place so she can’t just put the laptop on top of her list then.

A token

Each member of the team will be getting personalized footballs. It is a token from the local official who got their services to play for the local team. Of course, the teens are thankful for the token they got. They are actually not expecting anything because all they wanted was to play for their town.

Next year the same team will compete for the town again and the kids are hoping they will win by then.
