Cry for help
I was searching the web for sales jobs. No, not for me. I already have a job. The sales jobs are for my two friends who are both out of jobs at the moment. Their contracts ended and were not renewed anymore.
These days it’s so hard to be out of a job. There are bills to pay and basic necessities to fund for. How can you do that if you don’t have any source of income? That’s why when the two sent out an SOS to all of us their friends, we acted on their cry for help right away.
I do hope that the jobs I’ve searched for them will turn out to be the ones they are looking for.
I am no longer a GLEEk!

I haven’t been watching GLEE ever since season 2 started. I am no longer interested in that show. Do you know why? I don’t like a show meant to be watched by the younger set to be racy! I am tolerant of the issues because in the first place, the show is about minorities in school. The African-Americans, the fat people, the gays and lesbians, the losers. It’s hard enough to explain everything to a kid who watched the show with me. What more the raunchy scenes often included in each episode?
One example is the raunchy makeout scene between the characters of Santana and Brittany. I just felt that it was totally unnecessary. There were also some other scenes that I found to be too much for the target audience of the show.
I am not a prude. But there are just some things that I don’t think the younger crowd should be exposed to, no matter how right the issue is for most adults.
We love summer!
Summer. The season most people enjoy the most. Catherine is one of those people. In fact, as early as today, she is preparing for it already. She is getting Zeal Goggles for her and her partner. She is getting some sundresses she saw at the thrift market. She will get some other summer stuff she found there as well.
Well, I must admit that I am excited for summer, too! I don’t like rain that much. I love the cold weather but not if it gets too much. I always come back to loving the sun more than the gloom.
A misunderstanding
They had a misunderstanding. Her daughter-in-law thought that she was against the name she and her son agreed for the baby. She wasn’t against it. She didn’t know they already thought of one so she suggested a name for her soon-to-be-born grandchild.
Anyway, to make up for it, she will be bringing soup for her and some prenatal multivitamins that she got from her daughter-in-law’s OB GYN. She hopes to clear the air tonight once she gets to their house.
Acne breakout!
Jonah needs the best treatment for acne in the market. Imagine an outbreak like no other… a couple of weeks before his wedding! His bride might not mind at all but he doesn’t want her focusing on it on their wedding day! He doesn’t want wedding photos of him years from now with acne on his face.
He is enlisting the help of an acne expert and together they will search the market for the best treatment they can get. And hopefully, before his wedding, the acne will be gone!
The old blogs
Whenever I see something that would remind me of the old blogs, I feel this tug in my heart. I miss it! I worked hard for those blogs, the first one with my name the most. I worked hard to increase its Alexa rank and to get back its PR. But it was taken just like that. Sigh.
Oh well, it was meant to be. I knew when the falling out happened that I should expect it to happen. Old blogs taken away in an instant!
Nakakahinayang lang talaga.
Loss of income
Simon is temporarily out of work. He got injured while at the offshore site doing his work. An accident happened and as a result, he got injured. He doesn’t know yet the extent of his injury. He is still waiting for the medical results. He will ask the company to compensate him not only for the medical expenses he has to shoulder but also for the loss of income. Imagine, he has been out of work for two weeks now. That’s half month of funds gone!
He will get an Offshore Injury Lawyer. He wants the process of claim to be done in a legal manner. Plus, he wants to be sure that he is getting what should be lawfully his.
If you are in a similar situation, go to MaintenanceAndCure.com now and seek legal help there.
I’m still Tangled!
I watched Tangled again. I am really in love with that movie! It was one of the best animated movies in a while. I normally don’t really watch too much animated movies, especially if the story is taken from my childhood. But this one’s really good.
Of course, aside from the story, there’s the fact that I love the songs in the movie. I love Mandy Moore‘s and Zachary Levi‘s voices!
Okay, I will stop watching it now. I am waiting for another animated movie guaranteed to make me laugh my head off… Gnomeo and Juliet!
Organizing my corner
I am currently organizing my home-office corner. I would have loved to photograph the “before” but I am not sure I can show you. I am not proud of my messy corner.
Anyway, I am still planning what to do withe the desk itself. I don’t know if I still like it. Half of me wants to buy a new one but with the budget I am sticking to, I don’t think I can afford a new one soon. Maybe in two months. I also have to think of the books around me. I have so many books that I now have three clear boxes and two big bags of books surrounding me.
I am still vague as to the new position of my desk, whether it will stay on the same spot or I will move it to face the sofa set in the living room. Whichever, I am hoping the new organized home-office corner will inspire me to write more.
Internet at home
I am not the only one using the internet at home. In fact, almost all of us, apart from my dad, uses the internet daily. My sisters, my brother and me. That’s why I am checking out routers now. I need to get one for the house. One that can convert our DSL connection into wifi.
We have a desktop and two netbooks. We will be buying two more netbooks in April. A router is definitely a must or else we won’t be able to connect to the internet all at once.
I got Tangled!
One of the best animated movies I’ve watched… Tangled was really good! Funny, poignant, touching and everything in between. The characters are lovable. Even if we already know Ranpunzel from childhood stories, in Tangled it’s like meeting her all over again but with a different twist to her personality. Like she’s the spunky version of the old one. I also liked the prince charming in the movie, Eugene Fitzherbert aka Flynn Rider. Such lovable characters!
And their singing voices…
Wow! I already like Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi (aka Chuck). But the voices they lent to the characters made me like them even more!
Have you watched Tangled yet? Go watch it with your kids. You’ll love it!
Brand new phones
My two sisters will go to the mall tomorrow to get their new cell phones. They both got bonuses from the schools they are teaching at. And they both thought of brand new gadgets right away. There’s a sale going on so they are getting discounts for the phones they are buying.
I like to indulge from time to time. I also advise my sisters to do the same. There’s nothing wrong to enjoying the fruits of your hard work, right?
Dining area wall
Carlo loves bits and pieces of a house that he is looking to buy. One of those things he likes in the house are the glass mosaic tiles in the dining area. There’s a wall in the room that has the glass mosaic on it. It’s really lovely and Carlo knows that his wife will love it, too.
The house is a surprise for his wife. They are renting out an apartment now and they have both been dreaming of a house of their own for two years already. The house will be his anniversary gift to his wife.
Desperate!
She is looking for something online. Diets pills that work. Yes, that’s what she is looking for. She is desperate. She needs to lose at least six pounds so she can fit into the dress that she bought for herself a couple of months ago. She will be attending an event and the dress is the appropriate attire for it.
She can buy a new dress. But she’s broke and she just couldn’t afford to buy the same kind of lovely dress from the money that she has now. So the next best thing to do? Lose weight! Hopefully, she will lose the six pounds she doesn’t need in her body.
The Zorrilla

Have you heard of the Zorrilla? It may be the smelliest animal in the world. Yes, stinkier than the skunk! It is more commonly referred to as the Striped Polecat. It actually resembles a skunk in outer appearance. And much like a skunk, the zorrilla secretes a pungent fluid from its anal glands to protect itself from predators. Eeeww!!!
The nocturnal animal lives in rocky crevices and eats small reptiles and rodents. No wonder it stinks!
