Deathly Hallows movie part 2: An epic ending!

potter-voldemort

I can’t wait for this movie to be shown!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 will be shown in the US and in most countries including here in the Philippines on July 15th of this year.

Can’t wait!

Group effort

There will always be a way for a group of people fighting for a common cause to be successful and win! Say, a group of parents who filed a Zoloft Lawsuit because their children are now suffering from birth defects that they had no hand in doing. If they fight the medicine company as a group, the lawsuit might have better chances of winning, don’t you think?

And with the expertise and experience of the attorneys at O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath law office, the group will surely find that justice will be served sooner or later. There’s always a way and with a good legal assistance, the parents are sure to get the justice their children needs.

Discriminating moviegoer

MovieWatching

I used to be a fixture in movie houses. I could be found there at least twice a week. On Wednesdays (back then; now it’s Thursdays) when the movies being shown would change and on Saturdays. There were several instances when I would be watching movies from Wednesday to Saturday! Four days in a row!

I watched almost every Hollywood movie shown. And every extremely popular and most talked about Tagalog movie. That time, movie tickets only cost less than 30 pesos (less than US$1).

These days I choose the movies I watch. I no longer watch every big Hollywood movie that hits town. I choose the movies based on the storyline and the amount of interest it generates among online reviewers. Yes, I read reviews but I don’t rely on it solely. If a movie catches my interest, then I will schedule a viewing.

I would like to think that I’ve become a discriminating moviegoer now.

Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood was one of the last two movies I’ve seen in a while. It is a horror movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke of the Twilight movie fame. The movie was loosely based on the folk tale Little Red Riding Hood. A Young Adult book of the same title was released as a movie tie-in.

amanda seyfried

The movie starred Amanda Seyfried in the title role as Valerie.

I was not supposed to watch this movie as I hated the way Catherine Hardwicke massacred Twilight. I thought I wouldn’t watch another Hardwicke-directed movie ever again. I broke that promise and I truly regretted it! I didn’t like the movie. It was like watching Amanda Seyfried’s overly big eyes for the whole movie! It was cheesy and very poorly edited. Hardwicke obviously hadn’t gotten over Twilight yet because the opening sequence of the movie as well as most parts of it were reminiscent of Twilight. The part I hated the most? That feast sequence where almost everyone appeared to be high on something!

I just felt like watching a movie that day and unfortunately for me, this movie was the only one (I thought was) worth watching.

:(

Fight the culprit!

I think it’s safe to say that we all have heard of class action lawsuits filed by a group of people against giant companies who did them wrong. Now, I am reading about a Paxil Lawsuit. Imagine your kid with a birth defect and it’s not your fault that it happened. How will you feel about that? I will surely feel angry! Angry enough to file a lawsuit against the culprit!

If you are one of those parents who needed to file a lawsuit against a medicine company, make sure to contact the law offices of O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath and get one of their attorneys to represent you.

Emma Watson

Emma Watson

I have said this before and I will say it again… I am a huge fan of Emma Watson! Hermione Granger to all Harry Potter fans. She is a huge star but she doesn’t treat herself as such. You can discern it from interviews done on camera and in print. You just know that she’s one star who will treat her fans right.

I heard that she’s filming two movies at the moment. One is based on the novel The Perks of Being A Wallflower. That I am excited about. I already read the novel and I loved it! I read reports on why she stopped going to Brown University and I must say that she made a wise decision. She isn’t foregoing a college decision but attending university while filming a gigantic movie like the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2 as well as doing modeling work and designing a line of clothing… I don’t think she will go far in pursuing a college degree. Last I read she will attend a university not in the US anymore but somewhere in London.

I can’t wait to watch the last movie of the Harry Potter series. And I can’t wait the other movies where Emma will be starring in!

It’s magic!

Just like almost every person in the planet right now, I am a facebook fanatic! I spend so much time in Facebook and posts a Youtube video that I like from time to time. My friends do the same thing. I found FBmagic.com which is a free service that scans Facebook walls and puts the Youtube videos it collects in a playlist. Imagine playing all the videos of your choice in succession while you are working. It will be a blast!

If you are looking for a free service like this, a combo of Facebook and Youtube magic, I say go to FBmagic.com now and make use of this free service available for all!

Pottermore!

This is what everyone’s talking about. Pottermore. J.K. Rowling‘s announcement today about the site she put up for more of Harry Potter. It’s characters, what happened to some of them, some tidbits about past books she didn’t share until now, and e-book copies of each Harry Potter book that came out!

Taking care of what’s mine

For some people, earning money is easy. They have lucrative jobs or businesses and money is like water flowing in. But for some people like me, earning money means working doubly hard. It means lack of sleep and even lack of time for oneself. That’s why I take care of what’s mine.

A friend told me about credit card and ID theft that can happen even if the thief doesn’t get ahold of your cards or ID. All he needs to have is a device he can point to your bag and the information he needs can be taken right away. My friend told me to get a rfid blocking wallet so my ID, credit cards and other important cards are protected even if it’s inside my bag.

I want one!

I don’t just pick up cash anywhere. I work hard for it. I don’t want anybody getting ahold of my hard earned money and I will do everything to protect what’s mine!

To the tune of…

Elena loves dancing and whenever she hears her favorite dance tunes, she can’t help but turn up the volume and dance to her heart’s content. Of course, that can’t happen all the time since there are also other people at home. People who are busy with their studies or with work. Elena was told to buy a bluetooth stereo headphones so that she can turn up the volume all she wants and dance to her heart’s content in the corner of the living room.

That way, no one will be bothered by the loud sound coming from the stereo.

Learning how to cook

She wants to learn how to cook. Sally got married early in the year and her knowledge in the kitchen is very limited. Her husband is supportive. He told her to buy any kitchen stuff she might need and even had the kitchen remodeled for her. He bought her all the pots and pans she needs including an oven, an electric grill and other kitchen supplies needed to make cooking easier and faster for her.

Sally reminds me of a friend who knew only how to boil water before she got married but learned how to cook even complex dishes just by looking up recipes of dishes she wants to cook and doing it by trial and error. She is now a good cook and her husband loves it!

Payday Loans, a backup plan

When you are a breadwinner like me, there is always a backup plan ready for every kind of situation that may arise. Financially, I make sure that I have something to fall back on should my primary source of income gets stopped for one reason or another. I have a small business to fall back on. But if it’s just being short on budget, I have payday loans no credit check no faxing as a backup plan. It’s not easy being the primary source of funds at home. But I take my responsibilities seriously. There were times when I had to fund tuition fees on short notice. Thanks to no credit check payday loans I was able to do it.

Go to www.LuxuryGaze.com and know more about payday loans and how it works. Learn more about bad credit payday loans online as well. There’s so much to learn about this good alternative to immediate source of funds. It’s something that I have been telling friends and love ones. Should they need an immediate source of funds, albeit small one only, they can turn to payday loans. It’s less hassle and you don’t need to go be embarrassed asking for money from someone you know. All you need is a payday loan to use for now until the next paycheck comes in.

I can’t wait!

It’s a little less than a month and the final movie will be shown in 3D. My siblings and I were talking about it when we saw the second official trailer and we were both excited and sad that the series is about to end. It’s something we always look forward to and now that it’s about to end, we don’t know what movie series to look forward to next.

I am sure all Harry Potter fans feel the same way.
