That’s the Fitflop Rock Chic Pewter. A Facebook shop is offering it for 12,500 pesos. On sale! And there’s free shipping. According to the page owner, the buyer will save 2,000 pesos from the deal.

Can you ever imagine yourself buying slippers for that much money?!? Even if it has Unique Swarovski Crystal Design (according to Amazon.com)? Can you?

I can’t! The price is just too ridiculous the first time I saw the update of that FB page, I was left speechless. That amount is more than what an average worker gets in a month. A MONTH of hard work! I think I can’t throw away that much money for a pair of slippers. It’s totally obscene!

But hey, if you want one, go ahead. I won’t stop you. I just think it’s ridiculous to shell out that much money for something you will just step on.

Bedroom all my own

One of the disadvantages of coming from a large family is not having a bedroom to yourself. You have to share it unless your house is equipped with the number of bedrooms exactly as the number of people in the house. I am not complaining that I have to share the bedroom with my sisters. In fact, I enjoy having my sisters in the same bedroom because we get to gossip at night before we go to sleep. But there are days when I feel like being alone and wanting some peace and quiet in the bedroom.

In those days, I am dreaming of the bedroom above. Cozy and complete with a shelf full of books!

Soaking in the hot tub

Denton loves soaking in the hot tub after arriving at home from the office. It is his way of unwinding after a day of hard work. He has a tub that he bought spa covers for when he isn’t using it. But it’s almost every night that he indulges, even for ten to fifteen minutes of soaking and just emptying his mind of all the clutter that his work brings.

After a good soak in the hot tub, he’s off to have his dinner, watch tv or read a bit and then it’s time to bed so that he can rise up early the next day to see the sun rising and the city waking up from its deep slumber.

Pretty Little Liars

One of the shows that is being shown on cable that I follow and wants to be updated on is ABC’s Pretty Little Liars. I love that tv series! I am intrigued by the story and would want to know who A is. I think I am not the only one who is an avid fan of the show.

I am almost always busy with so many other stuff that I miss the shows actual airing. Thanks to my digital converter, DVR and a good sister who diligently records my fave shows so I can watch it when I already have free time.

Clean drinking water

We all want clean drinking water. More so if there’s someone sick at home. Or if there’s a kid as well. A reverse osmosis water filter can give us that. Clean drinking water. One that has no bacteria that can make us sick.

We went to the province two or three years ago. Water supply was from a deep well at the back of the house. My sister accidentally drank a glass full of it and was immediately besieged with sick stomach! She was vomiting and going to the bathroom back and forth! She was checked for food poisoning but the doctor ruled it was from the water that she got sick from. That’s why these days at home, we only drink purified drinking water and no more coming directly from the tap.

Important requirement

One important requirement that Manolo has for himself is a life insurance. True Blood’s resident bad boy ;P

Alexander Skarsgard plays Eric Northman, True Blood‘s resident bad boy. Who doesn’t know the man?! If you’ve been watching the series, you know right away that the man is the hottest in it. He’s one of the reasons why I watch it in the first place. Aside from the great fast-paced story, I like how hot the guy is! There were even scenes wherein the guy was bare naked!

I haven’t watched the new season but I intend to do so very soon. Eric Northman marathon, here I come!

I feel heavy!

If you are a person that is always on the go, chances are you will hate feeling so heavy and bloated all the time. I feel that way the past few months already. And yes, I hate the feeling! To tell the truth, I am seriously considering taking apidexin to get a relief from this feeling of heaviness taking over my body.

There will be so many things to do for the next few weeks. It’s all about work and lots more work! I will really feel more comfortable being busy and all if I don’t feel too heavy anymore.

Handy man

Do you know what I like about this guy from the neighborhood? He comes in handy when we have something we want done at home. He also charges a very reasonable fee for his services. We wanted to get a flexible metal hose for a project my dad has undertaken. No one among us wanted to go out to pick up one at the store. We had to thank the handy man, what we call the guy, for having one in stock. My dad bought it from him and he then helped my dad install it.

My sisters were teasing me that I should go marry the handy man so we can have him permanently!

Legion and all angel-related stories

I am drawn to everything angel-related, most especially when it comes to movies and books. Take for example the movie Legion. This movie received really bad reviews and I read some of it before I decided to watch the movie. Despite the bad reviews, I went ahead and satisfied this ‘thirst’ for an angel-related story. You know what? The movie was so-so. It would have sucked for some but since I’m a bit biased when it comes to angels and all that, the movie still entertained me.

Movies are not the only avenues from which I satisfy this ‘thirst’ for angels and other winged beings. There are tv shows and novels.
