Deep in the water

Her little kid loves swimming regardless of the weather. It doesn’t matter for Misty when the weather is good. But when it’s a bit chilly, she worries that her kid will get sick. So what she did was get pool heat pumps she can turn on when her kid feels like dipping in the water.

Her kid got her love for swimming from her father. He used to be a professional swimmer who competes internationally. But he no longer swims like he used to due to an accident he was involved in. Misty thinks her kid will inherit those swimming skills and she won’t mind if her kid also wants to become a professional swimmer like her dad.

Ride like the wind

He loves being atop a horse and riding like the wind. He has english riding boots on and his equestrian attire. He is not gifted with height so being atop a horse makes him feel high up there. He feels more confident riding a horse than in any other thing that he does.

His parents know how shy he is so they looked for an activity where his confidence will get a boost. Since he loves horses, they thought of horse riding as a hobby he can do regularly.

Travel Machu Picchu and the world with your special someone

My boyfriend and I are planning to travel extensively next year. As our budget permits, we will be going on australia tours with some friends to see Sydney. We have quite this yearning to see the Opera House and some other famous landmarks in Sydney like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Taronga Zoo. We also would like to hit the Bondi beach and see for ourselves why celebrities from around the world feel the need to hit that particular beach in Australia, too. My boyfriend has some relatives living in Sydney so we will see them there as well.

My boyfriend also has a thing to go on china tours. Well, he is Chinese and his great grandparents were originally from China so I can see where the need to see the country comes from. He has been telling me about it from the day I met him which was around six years ago so you can see the pull of the country on him. He wants to see the whole of China, if possible, and will write a journal of the whole tour. He loves writing about travel so I am sure he will chronicle the China tours in great detail.

Lastly, we both want to travel machu picchu. It was one of the new seven wonders of the world, being full of mystery and history. My boyfriend and I saw it in an episode of a local travel show and we immediately listed it down as our very own one of the places we must see before we die. Next year, we really plan on seeing it in person. The Lost City of the Incas. The Old Peak. The place that held us in awe when we saw it on television!

My boyfriend and I are saving up for the extensive traveling we are planning to embark on next year. We will see some portions of the world and will do our best to explore those places.

My cousin told me that students in her freshmen college class have mini netbooks. She is the only one who doesn’t have one. Some of her professors are requiring the use of a netbook in their class and she feels that she is missing out on some of her classes. She is taking up Information Technology so I guess a computer on hand is really needed.

My cousin is asking me and some other older relatives to donate, no matter what amount, so she can buy a netbook of her own. I will give her some on payday, I told her. If it’s for schooling, then I am all for it!

Actor urinated in aisle of plane

French actor Gerard Depardieu outraged passengers of an Air France flight when he urinated in the aisle of the plane. He insisted on going to the bathroom while the plane was taking off and when the hostess told him to take a seat, as all passengers do when plane is on take off, he suddenly urinated in the aisle! The plane had to go back to have the carpet cleaned and was delayed for more than an hour.

When I read this news, the first thing that came to mind was… what an a-hole! The guy was reportedly drunk. Why was he allowed to board the plane when he was that intoxicated?! Is it because he was a well-known French actor?

Argh! Just because you are famous doesn’t mean you are entitled to behave like a-holes anywhere you go. Be considerate of other people!

An attack!

Mico’s dad suffered from heart attack. He was confined at the hospital for a while and was discharged when everything checked out fine. They are wondering what went wrong that the head of the family suddenly had a heart attack when he was living a healthy life now being a diabetic. They are now suspecting it might be one of Mico’s dad’s medicines for diabetes.

They are filing an Actos lawsuit as soon as possible. They are looking for legal assistance so they know the steps they will have to take. As soon as they are sure of it, they will take the necessary legal actions.

You know, when I was just reading the first book Twilight, I was really excited to see it turned into a movie. I was even the one who introduced it to friends and love ones. We were all excited until we saw Kristen Stewart act and how the adaptation was so messed up! It really tore everything up for us. Our disappointment was so staggering! It left us speechless and, at worse, laughing our asses off over the Rosalie Hale ridiculous spotlight and the stuttering Bella Swan and Jasper Hale’s constipated look. And don’t get me started with the make-up…

Can you blame us for being jaded when we see people getting excited over this second to the last Twilight Saga movie?

Breaking Dawn

I think most of us have seen this still photo from the upcoming movie Breaking Dawn Part 1 of the Twilight Saga. This is a photo of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan‘s honeymoon. If you’ve read the book, you know this scene very well. I’ve read Breaking Dawn the book a couple of times already so I am very familiar with this scene.

My question is: Are you still excited over the upcoming movie? Haven’t you had enough of Kristen Stewart‘s uber bad acting?

Watching in cinemas

I haven’t been inside the cinema in a while. The last movie I’ve seen was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Seen it twice! But after that, either there was no movie interesting enough for me or when there was one, I was so busy I couldn’t take time off to watch it. Or it might be that Deathly Hallows was just too great for me that a movie too soon after watching it would be regarded as mediocre. It may be the reason for this ‘lull’ in movie watching.

I normally watch movies in cinemas at least twice a month. Two movies in a month, that’s what I mean. I haven’t seen anything for August yet and it’s already the 16th. What can you recommend that I see this coming Thursday?

Nice pieces

I passed by a specialty shop the other day and I saw a bulova watch. It reminded me of my brother who was asking for a simple watch before he passed away. Our maternal grandfather promised him one but he never did give it.

Anyway, it just reminded me of him. He wasn’t a vain person but he just wanted to have the basics: watch, belt, necklace. Nothing fancy for him, just nice pieces that will last long. Too bad now that I can give him whatever he wanted, he was no longer with us…
