A series of outdoor activities

Elaine decided to buy outdoor womens clothing now before the series of outdoor activities the family has lined up for all of them commences. Almost every summer her father would prepare a list of outdoor activities for the family. They will discuss it and decide on which three or four activities they will actually participate in.

This summer they will go kayaking, hiking and camping, and white water rafting. They are all excited about the line up of activities. They are not really adventure seekers but Elaine’s parents would like their kids to experience what life really is so they encourage them to go out and have fun!

Movie marathon weekend

There will be a movie marathon weekend at home with my sisters. To make sure that we don’t have to go out to buy food or drinks, we already prepared for it beforehand. We have snackwarehouse for stacy’s pita chips, popcorn (of course!), a tub of ice cream, pizza will be delivered, and a tower of cold drinks.

Yes!

We are going to be watching two chick flicks, a horror movie, the Bourne series, and the Harry Potter movies.

It will be one hell of a movie marathon weekend, that’s for sure. We’ve done this in the past and it was always such a good time for each one of us.

Going to Paris!

I am so excited for my friend. It has been her dream to go to Paris and you know what? She’s going to Paris very soon! Her husband is already taking care of their papers so they can go. They are targeting to stay there for a week to maximize their travel. They want to go to all the must-see places there.

It all started with the paris honeymoon packages that they saw online. They’ve been married for years now but they are thinking of going on a second honeymoon. They will be ‘making’ their baby in Paris and they can’t wait to begin their trip!

Eating healthy

I was already napping when I woke up and eating healthy facts heard my aunt angrily asking for me. My mom woke me up asking me where I put the batteries but, of course, I denied it. Unfortunately, I was the last one to play it and my cousins saw me. I didn’t know what my mom did but she asked me to go back to sleep and she dealt with my aunt after.

She probably paid off those darn batteries!

Serious strategy

This is what Mr. Anastacio will do when he is on the business conference he plans to attend… he will give out his business cards to everyone he meets there! It doesn’t matter if they are in the same industry, he will give out his business card and introduce his company to them.

He already ordered to print business cards at printingamerica.com so he can take all of it with him on his trip. He made a very short pitch for his company should be meet a potential business partner or investor. He made sure he has all the clothes he would need and the currency of the country he will be going to.

He can already feel the many possibilities for his growing company there!

Regular gig

Danielle and Jane are getting themselves brand new Benedetto Guitars at Musicians friend. Do you know why? Well, the girls now have a regular gig at the local pub!

The two college girls are really looking for a regular gig in exchange for a weekly paycheck to cover for their dorm rental, school allowance, and for other fees that they don’t ask from their parents anymore. It’s enough for them that their parents pay for their tuition fees, other than that they promised to take care themselves.

The gig at the local pub is on Thursday to Sunday nights. It won’t interfere with their studies as the owner of the bar knows they also need to study and pass their courses.

Mysterious guy

The ladies were talking about the mysterious guy who came inside the party wearing an HJC CL-16 helmet, leather jacket and black pants. He came in, went straight to the birthday celebrator, Marie, to give her a big bunch of flowers, kissed her right hand, and then left as abruptly as he came in.

Of course, everyone present in the party were intrigued as to who the guy was. The birthday celebrator, Marie, was just smiling a very mysterious smile as well. Her closest friends were asking her who the guy was but she’s not telling.

I also wonder who the mysterious guy was. Maybe her boyfriend?!?

Predictable kid

When it comes to Jon, his family and friends already know what to give to him… football gifts! For any type of occasion and you thought of him, a football gift is the perfect gift you can give him. He is one predictable kid and people are happy with it!

I know how hard it is sometimes to give a young boy something that will make him smile. You can’t give him too many robots, car/train toys, and other stuff for little boys. You have to vary or he won’t appreciate it. I know, I was had a little boy with me, my youngest brother.

The green monster

I am not ashamed to admit that I am currently green with envy over a friend’s adventure. You see she is right this very minute up in the mountains ready to ski down the slopes with her boyfriend! I also want to go on a skiing adventure with a love one.

I am looking at peterglenn.com and the ski stuff I can get there. I know that I am not much of an adventurous person but I do love one from time to time. Like right now!

How I wish I have enough funds to go on a skiing adventure even by myself…

Lost and found

Mr. Nate lost one valuable coin a couple of years ago. He went out of his way to look for it but he was unsuccessful. He stopped looking about two years ago. Fortunately for him, his wife saw an 1884 silver dollar which looks a lot like that valuable coin he lost. She is going to get it for him this coming week as a Christmas gift.

Valuable to each person can mean a different thing. It can mean it has sentimental value, or is actually truly a priceless item. Even if Mr. Nate meant that he lost a coin with a sentimental value to him, the fact that he searched hard for it means something, right?

Caring for every patient

The two nurses with the medical laptop cart went to check the patient next door. I remember them really well because they were the two most caring nurses in the hospital. They would go out of their way to make the patients feel at home. They would even take the time out to talk to the relatives and friends of patients.

It was more than what their work entails but they do it because I do believe they really care. What would they get out of the extra work they do? Nothing. The patients didn’t have anything to give to them because they were actually struggling to pay their hospital bills.

They care for every patient and I am in awe of those two nurses.

Brilliant and creative!

Shana has always been the creative mind in their family. When her mom decided to sell most of her jewelries to tide over a financial crisis in their family, Shana put out a brilliant idea of opening their own jewelry shop. Instead of asking their family friends to take a look at her mom’s jewelries, they opened a small shop in front of their house.

Family and friends dropped by to check and to buy all of her mom’s jewelries. It was an instant hit! Shana bought some stuff and together with her jewelry design ideas created a few accessories and jewelry pieces to sell as well. Those were sold right away, too!

Now they have a jewelry shop inside a mall and their regulars would always drop by to check what’s new.

Getting a new plan

It’s nearing the end of the year and it’s time to get an equote.com insurance quotes. I am getting a new life insurance plan by January, before the existing one I have expires. I am changing providers because the current one will increase their rates by next year and I can’t afford that much increase in the plan.

Anyway, I will also be getting a new plan for my father and sister. They both don’t have one yet. My dad had one years ago but it was terminated after he didn’t settle a loan against it, if I am not mistaken. So three plans with an affordable rate, if possible, is what I am aiming to get.

Caring men

When their high school adviser asked them what they wanted to take up in college, the two friends told her that they wanted to go into the healthcare industry. They wanted to work caring for the aging and weak. Both took up a course on becoming a medical assistant and they are doing the work they both dreamt of.

They were wearing landau scrubs for men when they met their high school classmates for a mini reunion. They regaled them with stories of heartbreak and triumph. Everyone was in awe of the caring men and they agreed that when we want something bad enough and we do something about it, we will end up getting it no matter what.

More accurate

The local grocery store is now using a symbol barcode scanner. For once they listened to the clamor of their regular customers and changed their manual POS system. They have been behind in technology but since they are the nearest grocery store in a three-neighborhood area, customers still flock to the store.

But they listened to the clamor and that’s a plus for them. The POS system with the barcode scanner will be a quicker way to check out of the store now. A long line won’t be a problem for regulars like me.

I am sure the grocery store owner will also find it easier to produce financial statements now and more accurate for that matter.
