Easier inventory tracking

My friend who works for a big manufacturing company as an inventory manager had a hard time with keeping track of stocks. They were using a manual system where periodic counting had to be done. So he suggested to top management to get a barcode system his department can use for easier tracking of inventory. They can use barcode scanners to easily count stocks for delivery and on hand.

Top management said yes and signed off on the proposal. Now my friend has to find a reliable vendor to help them install, set up and implement the system. He also needs someone from the vendor to orient and train his people on the use of the barcode system.

Scary situation

Can you imagine yourself in a situation wherein you have all your credit cards safe inside your bag and information about all of those cards was still stolen from you? That is possible and it already happened to a lot of people! Do you know how you can prevent it from happening? Through the rfid! Use the protective case against electronic pickpockets. You know you need that especially if you carry your credit cards and other financial cards with you all the time.

Winning!

Winning is very important to Karen. She’s always been the one to bring home trophies. She’s the one who loves competing and her parents support her in her quest for winning.

I guess there’s nothing wrong to want to win all the time. It’s in our nature to compete and best our opponents. But to actively seek competitions just so you can best others and win… makes you think, right? It makes me wonder if Karen is actually having issues with all the winning she wants hehe

Singer in the family

Alicia is the singer in the family. She is gifted with a really good voice that she only uses on special occasions and when she’s in the bathroom singing her heart out. Oh, and she also has her Electro-Voice Speakers which she uses at home to broadcast her recorded songs to her family.

She has always been shy. Growing up in a family of talented musicians, she developed a bit of a fear of being the untalented one. But she isn’t and her family tells her so. But she still wouldn’t sing in front of a crowd. She will only sing for family and relatives.

A little vanity

Everything in moderation. That’s one of the rules I follow in life. So a little vanity won’t hurt us women, right? We can take care of ourselves but not to the point that we are only focusing on it and nothing else.

A friend of mine has a lot of Premier usa products on her vanity table. Yes, she’s a little bit vain and she admits as much. She really allots a budget for her beauty products. She does have a morning, noon and night rituals. But she isn’t too fixated on it much because when we went on an out of town trip she didn’t bother with her rituals anymore.

Green garden

Miss Diana, the spinster next door, can be found in her garden every morning. She is determined to make her garden as green as it can be so she is working on it. She asked a gardener to help her set up the plants and flowers and the grass. She had a metal hose and sprinklers installed.

I told my sister that if and when I am finally Miss Diana’s age, I just might take up gardening as a hobby, too. I told her we also need greens outside the house to absorb all the bad air around.

Focused on his goal

He is so focused on his goal he doesn’t have any other activity outside of school but his riding lessons and practices. He wants to be a champion in horse riding and he knows he can only achieve that goal through discipline. And he has a lot of that in store!

He always has his equestrian riding apparel ready in a bag that he brings with him all the time. His parents are so proud of him. They see how he’s balancing school and his riding practices and he’s coming out on top of both.

Flowers everywhere!

Mrs. Parker is known to love flowers. In fact, she has a variety of flowers in her huge garden. She even has outdoor gazebos where she puts her orchids and other special flowers that she buys from abroad.

After her husband passed away a couple of years ago, Mrs. Parker felt she had nothing else to do to keep her busy. Her daughter introduced her to gardening and from then on she became so focused on her flowers day and night blurred into one with her always in her garden.

When you enter her house, there are flowers everywhere!

Only at night

Since Jane can only do her yoga at night, she opted to just get yoga dvds she can watch and follow than go to any late night classes. She goes home late at night since she’s assigned to some very important clients of the company and she has to put her 101% to all of it.

Yoga is something that she’s been doing just recently. A good friend influenced her to do it because her friends were seeing her so stressed out with the projects she’s handling at work. Yoga releases the tension in her mind and body. It relaxes her after a long day which she really needs.

Yoga at night gives her the “pill” she needs for a good long sleep.

Brother and sister bonding

Brother and sister planned their bonding activity with their friends. They are all ready with their dakine backpacks after just two days of planning and off they will go to the not-too-high mountain they pegged as their destination. They are going this midnight and will be back on Monday morning.

Brother and sister share friends as they are only a year apart. Their mom, wanting them to start at the same time in school, enrolled them at the same time so people thought at first they were twins. And since they went to the same school, went to the same sections and had the same classmates, they really bonded over the years.

Another source

His plan to buy gold coins about a year ago will just come to fruition in a couple of weeks. He has to save up for it since his only source of income is his paychecks from his nine to five job. He has no other source of income and that’s actually the reason why he wants to invest some of his savings. He wants another source of income for his future.

So now he only needs two more paychecks to come in and he’s ready to buy, invest his money. He will allot some of his savings to other kinds of investment but the big one will be that of the gold coins.

It took time but he knows his future is looking brighter as days go by.

Up the mountain with friends

She is known to feel the need to go up the mountain and enjoy the clean air there. She has a log cabin and when there’s snow, she and her friends would take advantage of it and off the ski rack go the skis that she keeps in her cabin.

She needs time away from her chaotic life. She needs time away from all the mess that her other life gives her. At least a week or two will do. And then when she goes back to reality, she is ready to face the chaos once again!

Such is her life.

Always ready to help

I find it nice that there are still people around who are ready to help without waiting for anything in return. They are just truly helpful people. My sister needed someone to help her with the dashboard product from InetSoft that her boss assigned her without any instruction on what to do. Her boss flew to Vietnam for a vacation and left her with nothing to go on by. She was looking for someone to help her when the IT guy from their company volunteered to help her with it.

They stayed late because of it but the IT guy didn’t say anything and when my sister thanked him profusely for helping her out, promising him that she owes him with all the help, he said that he’s just doing his work and that it’s really okay as he won’t be asking for anything in return.

What a great guy!

With nothing to do…

Since it is really hot and humid outside, Ben decided it would be much better for him to stay indoors. He is on vacation leave for the next three days and with nothing better to do, he took out his zombie yoyo and will be learning the old tricks from his youth again. He wants to lose himself in yoyo like he used to when he was younger.

He’s been stressing himself out over a very important project in the company he works for. The project, if successful, will give him a promotion and a bonus. Since he’s been noticing himself getting more and more restless, he thought of taking a vacation leave and be away from work for a while.

A step up the ladder of success

We know that the corner convenience store is going a step up the ladder of success when a POS system was installed for it. The owner also had the store repainted, the carts and baskets replaced with new ones, the counters cleaned and repainted as well. The whole store has become brighter and squeaky clean!

The owner talked to some of his store patrons and told them that he intends to expand his convenience store and make it a full blown grocery store very soon. Of course, all of us his store patrons are excited over this development.

Totally for it!

My opinion was once asked about background checks on potential employees and I said that I am totally for it! I see nothing wrong with checking a person’s background to make sure that he is totally fit for work. To make sure that the person is not hiding something that will endanger others around him. And that what he wrote in his resume and told the human resources are accurate.

I say make it a mandatory step before hiring an employee, especially those that will work around kids. Make it a must!

Anyway, if a person has nothing to hide, there’s nothing for a person to be wary of. Right?

Only the best for his girl

Quincy only wants the best for his girl. He’s been in love with her since they were teenagers and his love for her never wavered over the years. Now that they are married, he showers her with his love not only through actions but also through gifts that he gives her every now and then.

The last one he gave her were diamond earrings for women. It was just something he thought of giving her when he saw how she’s always wearing the same earrings for the past couple of months already. Since he can afford it, he thought why not give her a new pair to wear? And that’s what he did.

Lucky woman, I say!

Puppies everywhere!

Since the puppies are everywhere in the house, Jay needs to buy two oreck vacuum cleaners that he and his family can use when cleaning dog hairs and the rest of the mess at home. Why two vacuum cleaners, you might ask? Well, Jay always want to have a spare of the most important things in their house. You can call him OC when it comes to his purchases but you can understand his reasons.

And with all his pets roaming the house freely at all times, he wants to make sure that the house is still clean as he also has a kid at home that he has to look after.

Saving up on utility costs

Every month I make sure to check our utility consumption particularly in electricity. I want to be able to save up and by using led lights, we are sure to use less electricity every single day. A few bucks savings will mean big money when summed up at the end of the year, you know.

I was not proactive in checking expenses we incurred at home. That is no longer the case. I now check our expenses regularly. Analyze is more like it! I make sure that if there’s something we can do to lessen any expense at home, we do it.

Sentimental old woman

I’m a sentimental person. I will be honest with you and tell you that I store stuff that have a meaning to me. It doesn’t matter if that thing no longer works or is already a candidate for the junk shop. If it has a sentimental value to me, chances are it will go directly to storage if not being used anymore.

We had an old leather from when I was younger. I don’t want to have it thrown away because it was a symbol of how we were and how far we’ve come as a family. I will get the cleaning leather couch to restore it and will most likely put it in the second floor living room.
