Ice cold coffee

I think what I need this morning is an ice cold coffee drink, a Frappuccino, instead of my usual brewed coffee. It’s really hot! I think I took a bath three times yesterday just to cool down my body temperature. Still, after the bath, I was sweating right away!

Rude tattooed man

My sisters and I were at an ATM queue when this tattooed man suddenly cut in front of the others and without hesitation used the machine. He was a total jerk!

My sister took a photo of him but it was so blurred as he was moving so fast.

Rude tattooed man, next time just ask nicely and maybe the people in front of you in the line will allow you to bypass them!

Crushing on him!

I swear I looked for him everywhere until I found him in Facebook. He is Shane McRae and the man in the music video of Terrified by Katherine McPhee featuring Zachary Levi.

The guy was so hot in the music vid that I just had to look for him and find out more about him.

Game of Thrones Season 2

I’ve seen the official art for the Game of Thrones Season 2 and I am excited! Just a few more weeks and season 2 is on!

Can’t wait!

It’s just too bad Sean Bean won’t be in it anymore but at least The Imp, Tyrion Lannister, is still there to amuse me!

Whatever is happening to GLEE?!?

I am no longer a GLEEk. In fact, I stopped watching after Season 1. I just don’t like where the story line was leading to. With all the homosexuality, bitchiness and everything in between, watching it with a little girl at home was no longer appealing. I am sure you get my drift.

Well, why am I asking about GLEE now?

That’s because I keep watching reruns of Project Runway in ETC where GLEE is also being shown. I see teasers of upcoming episodes of Season 3 and past ones from Season 2 and I couldn’t believe how horrible the show has become! I was both sad and relieved whenever I see a teaser from GLEE. Sad because the show used to hold so much promise when it was just about a bunch of ‘losers’ in school grouped together to form a glee club. Then the numerous celebrities thrown here and there to rake in more viewers and Kurt becoming the center of the story when it used to be Rachel and Finn. Relieved because I stopped watching the show turn into crap!

Mess around my desk

I should have taken a photo of the mess around my desk to illustrate just how, well, messy my corner had become. Books, papers, magazines, notebooks, receipts… there were too many stuff cluttered around it was an impossible task to tackle when I was still planning on how to go about cleaning my corner. I went a little bit crazy just thinking about it

It was a good thing that I really psyched myself before proceeding with the clean-up. Or else I might have ended giving up after a few minutes of all those dusts and what-nots!

True Blood’s resident bad boy ;P

Alexander Skarsgard plays Eric Northman, True Blood‘s resident bad boy. Who doesn’t know the man?! If you’ve been watching the series, you know right away that the man is the hottest in it. He’s one of the reasons why I watch it in the first place. Aside from the great fast-paced story, I like how hot the guy is! There were even scenes wherein the guy was bare naked!

I haven’t watched the new season but I intend to do so very soon. Eric Northman marathon, here I come!

Right this very minute…

I don’t like her. Not at all!

She’s too annoying! She’s just there when she has something to gain from you. She always has to be the one to gain because if not, you won’t see her exerting any effort for you. That’s how she is. That’s what I keep realizing whenever I am annoyed with her and forgetting whenever I am no longer annoyed! Darn!

I think this is my karma for not taking care of the ones who mattered.

I am no longer a GLEEk!

I haven’t been watching GLEE ever since season 2 started. I am no longer interested in that show. Do you know why? I don’t like a show meant to be watched by the younger set to be racy! I am tolerant of the issues because in the first place, the show is about minorities in school. The African-Americans, the fat people, the gays and lesbians, the losers. It’s hard enough to explain everything to a kid who watched the show with me. What more the raunchy scenes often included in each episode?

One example is the raunchy makeout scene between the characters of Santana and Brittany. I just felt that it was totally unnecessary. There were also some other scenes that I found to be too much for the target audience of the show.

I am not a prude. But there are just some things that I don’t think the younger crowd should be exposed to, no matter how right the issue is for most adults.

Organizing my corner

I am currently organizing my home-office corner. I would have loved to photograph the “before” but I am not sure I can show you. I am not proud of my messy corner.

Anyway, I am still planning what to do withe the desk itself. I don’t know if I still like it. Half of me wants to buy a new one but with the budget I am sticking to, I don’t think I can afford a new one soon. Maybe in two months. I also have to think of the books around me. I have so many books that I now have three clear boxes and two big bags of books surrounding me.

I am still vague as to the new position of my desk, whether it will stay on the same spot or I will move it to face the sofa set in the living room. Whichever, I am hoping the new organized home-office corner will inspire me to write more.

Get organized!

See? Organization is the key to achieving what we want in life! It’s a fact and one that is easy to do if only we exert more effort into organizing things around us.

I am a serial organizer. I think I should stop my organizing from being serial and make it a just a regular one.

Time heals all wounds.

That’s what they say and I believe them. Time heals all wounds.

It reminded me of a friend who became desperate when her boyfriend broke up with her. She felt so devastated over it and actually begged the guy to take her back. But he’s moved on and found another girl right away. She thought she’d die of pain and loneliness back then.

You know what? Over time, she became okay. She managed to move on and forget about him. Maybe not completely but she coped with the situation.

Look at her now. She’s happy with a man who loves her and intends to marry her. She gave herself time and she found a man who treats her better than that guy who broke her heart!

Sometimes…

It isn’t easy, saying goodbye. But what can we really do if it’s meant to happen? What can we do if it’s out of our control? All we can do is go with the flow of life and try to cope with the loss as much as we can.

Soon, you will learn to live with it and eventually forget.

Make a difference

I was just thinking how life could have been different for me and my family had we accepted an offer from my maternal grandfather to move in an adjacent property (to his that) he bought for us in the province. It would have made a huge difference in our lives for sure because for one, we’d have left city life and settled there. My parents would have been in Italy rather than my dad here with us while my mom’s passed away already. My siblings and I could have been working there and our friends would have been from that place as well.

Or will it be that way? Or our life bad than good?

It just made me think of that offer from my grandfather. When my parents declined, with the reason that we were already settled where we are right now in the city with my siblings and I in the middle of school, my grandfather took it bad. He didn’t speak to us for years after that. I think he already had in mind that we would be with him for the rest of his life.

But it was not so.

Journals

I am big on papers. If you can only see how many notebooks, notepads, post-its and journals I have, you’d think I am a very busy working girl. I am a busy working girl but only because I am crappy with time management! Hehehe!

Anyway, I can tell you that I am a person always full of ideas. Maybe that is the root of all the paper-buying. I have two 2011 journals right now. I am using both simultaneously. I write down ideas on the black one. I use the other for other things on my mind.

Now, if only I can put to good use those ideas…
