Whenever I hear the song When I Look At You by Miley Cyrus it reminds me of The Last Song. It’s the movie’s theme song. What I remember the most is the touching scene wherein Jonah, Ronnie’s younger brother, was trying his best to finish the window left by their ailing father. I really cried during that scene. While the little kid was crying, my sister and I were crying, too.

I don’t really like Miley Cyrus. I am not that crazy with the novels of Nicholas Sparks. But this particular book and movie, I really, really love!

Rooney Mara, whom we’ll first see in The Social Network alongside Justin Timberlake, will play the title role in the much-anticipated film adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. There were reports that she beat out Natalie Portman, Ellen Page and Carey Mulligan for the role. I just hope that she’s really good. The book is one of the best books I’ve read and I was actually gunning for Emma Watson to play the title role. But let’s see. I’m giving Rooney Mara a chance to prove that she’s the better choice.

The movie is set to be shown on December 21, 2011.

I saw this movie poster of The Ghost Writer while I was checking out movies currently being shown in Trinoma Mall. I immediately checked but the notice said that it is being exclusively shown in Greenbelt cinema only. I love movies with Ewan McGregor in it. Plus I’ve heard about the novel where this movie was based. Unfortunately, Greenbelt is not my area. I don’t like going there because cabs are hard to find especially during the night. I only go to SM North Edsa and Trinoma malls.

Since I can’t watch the movie now, I just bought the book! I will read it this weekend. It’s called The Ghost by Robert Harris. Can’t wait!

I still haven’t watched Salt. My supposed movie date with one of my best friends didn’t push through because of work. We moved it again but it didn’t push through one more time. I guess I’ll just wait for the DVD to come out or I’ll find someone who already has a copy of this movie.

The same goes for Shutter Island. I really regret not seeing this in the big screen. My schedule was tight during the period this movie was shown so I had no way of seeing it.

I still have a long list of movies I want to watch.

Angelina Jolie is Evelyn Salt. A CIA agent accused of being a Russian Spy. I know more than this but I won’t spill it just yet. My friend and I will be watching it tomorrow. I actually don’t like Angelina Jolie but I really liked Salt the first time I saw the trailer. So I told my friend right away that we need to watch it.

Can’t wait for tomorrow!

I am so curious and itching to watch Memento by Christopher Nolan. I swear after watching Inception, I had this overwhelming desire to watch all his films. I didn’t even know Nolan was the director of Insomnia, one of my favorite movies of all time.

I will find a copy of this movie and I will watch it right away when I get my hands on it.
