A rare copy of Action Comics No. 1, the first comic book featuring Superman, has sold for $317,200 in an Internet auction.

Can you imagine this? The first ever Superman comic book was sold for a whopping $317,200!!! The previous owner who sold it spent only less than a buck, 35 cents to be exact, to buy it in the early 1950s when he was 9 years old.

The buyer, John Dolmayan, drummer of the rock band System of a Down is also a dealer of rare comic books and has a client who asked him to purchased the Superman comic for him.
