According to Reuters.com, this robot, presented during a demonstration at the FOOMA Japan international food machinery and technology exhibition in Tokyo, June 12, 2009, has soft pneumatic fingers that can handle delicate objects without crushing them. A fine example: handling plastic sushi.
Japan will never stop until they could finally clone a human robot. I bet sooner or later, they will be unveiling a robot with arms and legs that of human. And then a face closer to human’s. And then a body. And then…
