A woman, for unknown reasons, plunged into a moat containing a polar bear at a Berlin zoo. She was attacked by the polar bear, naturally. The adult polar bear even bit her several times.

Zoo workers tried to save her using rescue rings but was unsuccessful the first time. But the next attempt was successful. She was severely injured and is being treated at a hospital, according to police.

Why the woman climbed over the fence and jumped into the moat is still unclear. Crazy woman!
